Carob powder is made from the grounded pods of the Carob tree. Carob is used as a substitute for chocolate although totally different substance.

Our Raw Carob Powder is an incredibly full bodied sweet carob. It is a crystal-like powder that will go great in all carob recipes. It has a fresh cooling taste in smoothies.

Our carob powder is really raw and unheated, a great raw food. During the unique grinding process the temperature does not reach over 100 degrees.

The pods come from carob-pod trees growing wild in Spain.
