• Organic Witch Hazel Floral Water: It has fantastic cleansing and astringent qualities without drying the skin. High in anti-oxidants and well-known for its revitalising properties, witch hazel floral Water is particularly effective on teenage skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties are good for reducing redness and sore swollen skin.
• Organic Tea Tree Floral Water & Tea Tree Essential Oil: An antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial combination which is highly cleansing and purifying. It also helps to clear spots and pimples.
• Organic Juniper Floral Water & Juniper Essential Oil: Effectively cleanses and detoxifies the skin. Especially good for acne, unblocking pores, congested skin and water retention.
• Organic Cold-pressed Jojoba Oil: combines with the skin’s own sebum and gently unclogs pores and helps to free embedded dirt and grime. It is a natural anti-bacterial and helps to reduce skin inflammation.
• Organic Cold-pressed Wheatgerm Oil: Rich in natural antifungal and antibacterial properties and high in vitamin E. It has excellent antioxidant properties which helps improve one’s overall complexion.
• Organic Sweet Orange Essential Oil: A natural antibacterial agent with good cleansing properties. Helps to detoxify congested skin and is a good overall skin tonic with the added bonus of helping to reduce fine lines.

For best results:

Wet face and pat dry. Shake the bottle well and spray directly onto face and neck. With a cotton wool pad, wipe away the cleanser removing any dirt and/or makeup. It is not necessary to massage the cleanser into the skin.

How It All Started: For many years, Raw Gaia searched for a really good moisturiser, that would be made with ingredients as fresh and as close to nature as possible and that would be free from any chemical or toxic ingredients.

The Importance of Raw:

Raw ingredients provide additional benefits to the skin through their Antioxidants:
Antioxidants help to keep the skin supple and beautiful by neutralizing free radicals. Free radical exposure eventually leads to hidden inflammation and eventually, wrinkles and ageing skin.

Minerals:

These occur naturally in our bodies and are found in our most common foods. Sulphur for example is essential to make the skin soft and elastic since it is an essential component of all connective tissues.

MSM is a sulphur compound that is naturally found in all body cells and some of our most common foods. Sulphur is an essential component for the formation of collagen, which is the fibrous substance in connective tissue. It is especially concentrated in the skin, hair and nails. Adequate levels of sulphur in the body promotes a radiant complexion, glowing skin and mineralised hair. Therefore sulphur is called The beauty mineral. As part of a skin care product, MSM promotes skin elasticity, healing and repair. It also allows greater cell permeability, therefore allowing waste products to be flushed out of the cells.

What Purity Really Means:

Raw Gaia's products do not contain any nasty petrochemicals, artificial colourants and parfums, glycols, lauryl sulphates, parabens, preservatives, synthetic additives, bulking agents or hidden ingredients.

Moreover, by following a special process that carefully avoids temperatures above 40°C, they ensure that none of their products contain heated oils and fats. When these are used in skin care products –even in the so-called most natural ones-, they are actually one of the worst offenders to skin beauty. Heated oils and fats contain highly toxic transfatty acids, which may be absorbed into the cell membranes, causing them to become porous and weak. They also lead to the creation of free radicals, which are unstable oxygen molecules that have lost an electron. Collagen, a protein molecule that constitutes 80% of the dermis, is particularly susceptible to free radical damage, which includes wrinkles, lingering scars and stiff collagen.

In contrast, Raw Gaia's cold-pressed fats and oils, kept at low temperatures, help to beautify the skin, strengthen the cell membranes and restore nutrients to the tissues.
